MVP performance puts 2028 CB Jayden Hilliard on UCLA's radar

He brings a combination of speed, athleticism, toughness, football awareness and physicality to the defensive side of the ball.

Through the first four games of the 2026 season, he has recorded over 15 solo tackles, 1 interception, 1 pass breakup, 2 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery returned for a touchdown.

His versatility allows him to play both in coverage and closer to the line of scrimmage, giving his defense flexibility in different schemes and situations. Hilliard embraces physical play while continuing to develop his coverage skills, instincts and ability to make plays on the football.

In addition to football, Hilliard is alway working and continuing to develop his speed and overall athleticism. He also excels in the classroom, maintaining a 4.0 GPA while balancing the demands of being a student-athlete, which has allowed him to qualify as an early 2028 midterm graduate.
