A physical interior defender who shows good play strength and play recognition. Lists an unverified size of 6-2, 280, but looks closer to 6-0, 270-ish against interior offensive linemen with verified size. But frame looks like it can carry more weight and he already shows plenty of strength in getting a push and should be able to be a three-down defender if he can grow in height, but may be more limited in two-downs. Shows good strength and plays with a low pad level, keeps his feet moving and shows good gap integrity. Shows adequate ability to diagnose plays, specifically some screens and knows when to shed blockers to pursue the ball. Decent backside pursuit but will need to show more quickness there and at the line of scrimmage with a quicker first step. No verified measurements or speed markers, but shows flashes against talented offensive linemen in the toughest league in his region.
