Javonte Vereen‘s big junior season continued with four catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns in a first round playoff win. The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder showed some rare after catch ability in taking making several defenders miss on a 43-yard catch-and-run touchdown. He also made a fantastic high-point, contested grab down the sideline before scoring a 60-yard touchdown on a vertical route.

Javonte Vereen had a strong sophomore season in the spring but has taken his game to another level this fall. The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder has been dominant for eastern North Carolina power Havelock. Vereen is a bouncy pass catcher with the ability to win in contested situations while also showing athleticism after the catch. So far, he has caught 22 balls for 765 yards (34.4 yards per catch) and 10 touchdowns in seven games.
