Accurate, quick-processing quarterback who plays with efficiency and poise. Long was measured at 5-foot-10.8 and 175 pounds at the Rivals Combine in Nashville in April 2026, prior to his junior season, and his hand size has measured at 8.5 inches at an offseason camp. He does not have the biggest frame relative to other FBS quarterback prospects, but he has time to keep growing. Efficient, heady passer who wins with processing, accuracy, and timing. Diagnoses quickly and flips through his reads, getting the ball out on time to receivers in stride. Has fluid throwing motion with a tight release. Delivers with zip in the short and intermediate areas of the field. Layers throws with good touch. Plays with evident confidence in executing his offense. Not afraid to challenge tight windows. Athleticism allows him to escape pressure and keep his eyes downfield. Also is a threat to pull it down and score near the goal line.
