Cypress (Texas) Cy Ridge three-star defensive lineman Isaiah Broughton has decommitted from UNLV.

Pledged to Dan Mullen and the Rebels since July 6, Broughton is now back on the board after picking up multiple big Power Four offers this fall. Auburn, Miami, Houston and Florida are among those that have offered him since August.

Broughton is the No. 139 defensive lineman and No. 209 player in Texas in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He currently checks in as the No. 1,473 overall prospect.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pounder looks to be on the rise amidst his senior season in the Lone Star State. Auburn began to trend for Broughton in the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine after offering in early August, while Florida got him to campus for an official visit over the weekend.

Broughton has now been to Gainesville twice this month. On Nov. 1, he’ll take an official visit to Houston.

Broughton is the younger brother of former Texas Longhorns DL Vernon Broughton, who was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Vernon was a four-star recruit in the 2020 cycle.

Mullen and his staff in Las Vegas are now down to 21 commits this cycle. The Rebels have the No. 3 class in the Mountain West and a top-70 class nationally, per the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
