Jamarcea Plater has entered a new chapter of his recruitment
After committing to Wake Forest over the summer, the record-setting 3-star running back from Louisiana has reopened his recruitment as of Wednesday morning, he tells Rivals.
Colorado, Boise State and others were all working to flip the touted back from Shreveport (La.) Captain Shreve.
Both programs started to dial up their efforts with the 2026 RB target, who nixed his trip to Boise State in September. He’s since followed suit with Colorado.

Plater backed off his pledge to Wake Forest a few days later.
“Right now, I’m putting it all in God’s hands with whatever he blesses me,” Plater told Rivals.
UCF and Cincinnati have both stepped up their efforts with the 3-star RB in the last few weeks.
Plater plans to make a final decision on November 9, the final day of Captain Shreve High’s regular season, so he can shift his attention to the high school football postseason
