Michigan flips 4-star CB Jamarion Vincent from Baylor
Waco (Texas) Connally four-star cornerback Jamarion Vincent has flipped his commitment from Baylor to Michigan.
Vincent had been pledged to the Bears since January, choosing Dave Aranda and Co. over Texas, TCU, Minnesota, Texas Tech and a long list of other offers at the time. Michigan emerged this fall and has now added an impressive piece to its class ahead of National Signing Day.
The nation’s No. 161 recruit and No. 24 cornerback prospect is fresh off another visit to Michigan over the weekend. They made another strong impression and he’s now set to head to Ann Arbor next year.
“It was a great experience,” he told Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong of his first trip in October. “What stood out for me is how the defense bounced back after the first drive.

Vincent also highlighted ‘all the connections they have on and off the field.’ He added the culture caught his eye.
“I got a lot different ways on being a better person on and off the field,” he told Wiltfong.
Secondary coach and defensive pass game coordinator Lamar Morgan offered Vincent this fall and the wheels have been in motion to get him on campus since.
Vincent doubles as a quarterback at the high school level for Connally. He threw for nine touchdowns and ran for an additional 14 as a junior. He tallied over 1,900 total yards and also accumulated 34 tackles and an interception. This season, he has moved over to wide receiver where he has hauled in 25 catches for 463 yards and six touchdowns. On the defensive side, he has tallied up 11 tackles, five pass breakups and an interception through five games.
