After decommitting from <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/tennessee-volunteers/">Tennessee</a> in January, Kennesaw (Ga.) <a href="https://www.on3.com/high-school/north-cobb-kennesaw-ga-14398/">North Cobb</a> four-star interior offensive lineman <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/brandon-anderson-239823/">Brandon Anderson</a> is once again whittling his list of top schools down.



On Monday, he announced that <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/alabama-crimson-tide/">Alabama</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/georgia-bulldogs/">Georgia</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/florida-state-seminoles/">Florida State</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/missouri-tigers/">Missouri</a> and <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/tennessee-volunteers/">Tennessee</a> are his top five schools.



The 6-foot-5, 335-pounder is the No. 365 overall prospect and No. 30 IOL in the 2026 cycle, according to the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/industry-player/football/2026/">On3 Industry Ranking</a>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 44 player in Georgia.

After originally committing to Tennessee back in October, he backed off that pledge and came back on the board earlier this year on Jan. 27. He’s still considering <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/coach/josh-heupel-132328/">Josh Heupel</a> and Co., along with three other SEC programs and FSU.



The Seminoles have been a top program to watch since Anderson decommitted. New FSU OL coach <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/coach/herb-hand-133191/">Herb Hand</a> has made an impact on his recruitment.



“I had a great meeting with coach Hand at Chicken and Waffles in January,” <a href="https://www.on3.com/news/under-armour-next-camp-atlanta-recruiting-intel-2/">Anderson told On3’s Chad Simmons</a>. “He is a great coach and I really like him and what they are doing at Florida State. I was there for their Junior Day and I will be back on June 13 for an official visit. When I was there, they treated me like family.”



Anderson told DawgsHQ’s Jeremy Johnson at the end of January that the plan is to take official visits and then commit during his senior season. The in-state Bulldogs remain in the mix and are looking to land the blue-chipper, too.



“They’ll be a factor a lot,” <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/georgia-bulldogs/news/4-star-ol-brandon-anderson-to-consider-georgia-heavily/">Anderson said</a>. “I like Georgia. I like them a whole lot.”



Anderson has been a key cog in the trenches for North Cobb, one of the top high school football programs in the Peach State. He was a part of a Warriors team that went 11-1 in 2024 and finished as the No. 12 team in Georgia, per the <a href="https://www.on3.com/high-school/rankings/football/georgia/">On3 Composite Rankings</a>.
