4-star LB Brayden Rouse set to commit tomorrow
Marietta (Ga.) Kell four-star linebacker Brayden Rouse has been working towards a decision after taking official visits last month. The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder is ready to make his commitment public.
On Monday, Rouse announced via social media that he’ll commit tomorrow, choosing between Alabama, Michigan, Tennessee and Texas.
Rouse is the No. 100 overall prospect and No. 7 LB in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 10 player in Georgia.
All four finalists had Rouse in for official visits last month. He rounded things out with his OV to Tennessee on the weekend of June 20. The Vols currently have the edge in the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine.
Rouse will announce his decision at 7 p.m. eastern time. He’s one of just two top-10 linebackers in the 2026 cycle that entered the week uncommitted and is one of the four highest-ranked prospects in Georgia that’s currently on the board.

Rouse talks Alabama, Michigan, Tennessee and Texas
Rouse had tabbed Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and Tennessee as official visit destinations back in the spring. He then swapped out the Bulldogs for Texas. Rouse broke down each of his four finalists when speaking with Rivals’ Chad Simmons earlier this year.
Alabama: “They are high on my board. They’ve been doing a good job of recruiting me and I could see myself playing there. “Coach Morrell and I are very tight. He has a big vision for me and compared me to Jihaad Campbell.”
Michigan: “Football wise, the way they ran practice and their meetings. But what surprised me the most was the way they treated my family. It was very impressive, and Avery Bean and the whole staff were great hosts, and it was one of those visits they made you feel at home.”
Tennessee: “Hanging out with the team, seeing how the guys competed even with a shift in their quarterback room, and how happy everyone seems to be at Tennessee were the biggest highlights of this visit. I talked to about every coach on staff too. The ones I talked to the most were coach Inge, coach Heupel, coach Banks and coach Chop. They continue to show me how much they want me.”
Texas: “I talked to almost everyone on the staff. Talking with coach Nansen and Coach CG was great. They had a lot of ball to teach while also focusing on the fundamentals of football and the defense. Josh Dunson was also great in touring us around all week and making sure we saw everything the campus has to offer … I can’t pick one thing that stood out, but the location of the campus is great. It’s not too crazy of a city while there is still stuff to do. The food was amazing. Just getting to know the coaching staff and build that relationship with them was huge too.”
