4-star LB Gavin Stecker commits to Iowa
Bettendorf (Iowa) linebacker Gavin Stecker announced his commitment to Iowa on Tuesday morning.
The four-star linebacker chose the home-state Hawkeyes over offers from programs such as Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State and Minnesota.
Iowa offered Stecker in June following an impressive camp performance in Iowa City.
“I called coach (Seth) Wallace and we discussed how camp went and how my summer has been,” Stecker told HawkeyeReport.com at the time. “We went over my strengths and weaknesses and how I can improve. Then he said he was going to offer me.”
