4-star TE Brock Harris sets commitment date

Saint George (Utah) Pine View four-star tight end Brock Harris is ready to announce his college decision.

The 6-foot-6, 240-pounder announced on Tuesday that he will make his commitment next Monday on April 7. BYU, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Oregon and Utah will each have hats on the table.

Harris is the No. 80 overall prospect and No. 5 TE in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 2 player in Utah.

In February, Harris’ father told On3 that the blue-chipper had locked in official visits to UGA (May 16), Oregon (June 6), Michigan (June 13) and BYU (June 20). He’s now set to come off the board before those trips in the summer.

Dominant as a junior, Harris hauled in 41 catches for 527 yards and nine touchdowns in 2024, per MaxPreps. Across three seasons, he’s tallied nearly 1,800 receiving yards and 22 TDs.

In a previous interview with On3’s Steve Wiltfong, Harris talked about some of his top programs, each of which had him on campus for a visit back in the fall:

BYU: “BYU was awesome. It’s a great environment there. I got to meet with the coaches and in to the locker room after the game for the celebration. Was a great time.”

Georgia: “I really like the college town feel it has. The atmosphere was awesome. The way the offense uses the tight ends is huge. That’s what gets me excited about Georgia is their tight end use and how they tell me I could come in there and learn and become the next great tight end and then get to the League.”

Michigan: “I really like the college town feel of Ann Arbor. I got to meet a couple of commits from my class also and they were cool. Definitely bumped Michigan up on my list.”

Oregon: “There’s only a few teams that use the tight end as much as Oregon. I love Coach Mehringer and Coach Lanning’s enthusiasm and where they are leading that team. Having grown up in Oregon this is really exciting times.”
