5-star QB Dante Moore leads back-to-back touchdown drives to open All-American Game
Detroit (Mich.) Martin Luther King five-star quarterback Dante Moore wasted no time making his presence felt in this year’s All-American Game.
On the first drive of the game, Moore methodically led the East team deep into West territory after only a couple of plays. With 8:37 remaining in the quarter, he connected with Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep four-star LSU receiver signee Jalen Brown for six from 15 yards out for the game’s opening points.
The UCLA quarterback signee got another opportunity to strike almost immediately as the East defense forced and recovered a fumble deep in West territory.
Moore immediately capitalized on the opportunity connecting Miami Gardens (Fla.) American Heritage five-star Ohio State receiver signee Brandon Inniss in the corner of the end zone for a nine-yard touchdown to put East up 14-0 with just over eight minutes remaining in the quarter.
