Stanford 4-star CB commit Lasiah Jackson visiting Auburn this weekend

On July 7, Stanford landed a commitment from Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County four-star cornerback Lasiah Jackson. He chose the Cardinal over offers from many of the usual contenders around the Southeast.
Auburn was not a finalist ahead of Jackson’s decision, but it isn’t going away in his recruitment. According to Rivals’ Chad Simmons, the Tigers are getting the blue-chipper on campus this weekend for their home-opener against Ball State.
Head coach Hugh Freeze and Co. are back down to 12 commits after longtime four-star EDGE commit Hezekiah Harris flipped to Tennessee. The Tigers will need to do plenty of flipping themselves if they wish to sign a third-consecutive top-10 class. Jackson could be a top target.
Despite his pledge to Stanford this summer, it won’t be easy for Jackson to get over to Palo Alto for a game this fall. That gives the likes of Auburn, Alabama, Florida State and Georgia Tech — the latter three of which were his other finalists — ample time to get him in for a visit this fall.
Jackson is the No. 115 overall prospect and No. 16 corner in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 13 player in Georgia and sits atop Stanford’s recruiting class.
“The biggest reason I chose Stanford is the combination of elite academics and top-level football is unmatched,” Jackson told Simmons this summer. “Stanford is a place that truly pushes you on and off the field. Something else that set them apart was the culture there is built around development, both as a person and a player. The people I met on campus, from coaches to students, had a real drive and a purpose too, so that helped them with me.”

Auburn in need of flips this fall
With Harris no longer in Auburn’s class, it now ranks outside the top 30 of the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. There remains plenty of room on the pledge list for Freeze and his staff as they began a pivotal 2025 season with a win at Baylor last Friday.
Brandon (Miss.) Hartfield Academy five-star safety Bralan Womack gave AU its big win of the cycle on Aug. 21, choosing it over Florida, Ohio State and Texas A&M. He’s the No. 21 prospect nationally and Rivals’ top-ranked safety.
Earlier in the month, Leakesville (Miss.) Greene County four-star wide receiver Jase Mathews, Rivals’ No. 2 wideout, committed. He and Womack headline alongside top-100 EDGE Jaquez Wilkes out of Wadley, Ala.
Just three other blue-chippers are in the class to date: Nazareth (Pa.) four-star athlete Peyton Falzone, Rabun Gap (Ga.) Nacoochee four-star offensive tackle Wilson Zierer and Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) Cardinal Newman three-star linebacker Adam Balogoun-Ali.
