2023 Four-Star wing Eric Dailey sets commitment date

Eric Dailey, one of the top available prospects in the 2023 class, will announce his college decision on Wednesday, January 11th at noon eastern time.

The 6-foot-7, 215-pound forward out of Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy is choosing between three options: Oklahoma State, Memphis, and the professional route.

Dailey, originally a part of the 2022 class prior to reclassifying, also received offers from Kansas, Florida State, TCU, Michigan, Texas A&M, and others.

Dailey ranks as the No. 57 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus — the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies (ESPN, 247Sports, Rivals, On3).

Lefty. Has a strong frame with good length. Broad shoulders. Advanced scoring package. Has good touch at every level. Lateral mobility questions, where does he defend? Smooth off the catch, shooting with range. Like to see him pay more attention to rebounding. Good mid-range, mid-post game. Can face up and score in the half court, good footwork and balance. Eric Dailey Jr. was born in South Carolina and is the son of two former basketball players. Eric Dailey attended Western Carolina and TCU, averaging over 10.0 points per game in all four seasons of his career. For his career, he averaged 11.7 points and 8.7 rebounds. Shell Dailey played basketball at Texas. She later became the head coach at TCU and worked as an assistant coach at Texas A&M, South Carolina and Florida. Shell also served as an assistant for the WNBA San Antonio Silver Stars, becoming interim head coach twice. She is now the head coach at IMG Academy. Eric Dailey Jr. has won gold medals with Team USA at the 2022 FIBA U18 Americas Championship and 2021 FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cup. Dailey is a big fan of music and creates his own beats.
