Five-star ATH Brandon Arrington commits to Texas A&M: 'I see a great opportunity there'

Spring Valley (Calif.) Mount Miguel athlete Brandon Arrington took official visits to Alabama, Oregon, Penn State and Washington, but right before taking his official visit to Texas A&M, the five-star commits to the Aggies.
“They have recruited me the hardest,” Arrington told On3. “They made me feel wanted from the beginning. When I visited last summer, I loved it. I kept going back. It is about the people at A&M. The staff made me feel welcome and that is what did it.”
At different times, there were other schools high on Arrington’s list. Alabama made a big push early in the spring.
Oregon was there consistently. At one time, USC had his attention. Texas A&M has consistently been in that top two and have ended up No. 1.

Arrington feels at home in College Station, around Aggies’ program
“I have visited A&M more than anywhere else. I am so comfortable there. Coach Jordan Peterson and coach Holmon Wiggins are my guys. They have come out to my school to see me, they have recruited me hard and how I have bonded with the coaches there made a big impact. How they stayed consistent meant a lot.”
Where the program is going and the opportunity he sees on the field in College Station excites the No. 9 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking.
“I have been there, I have been in the locker room with the team and I have been in that atmosphere – I love it,” Arrington said. “Coach Elko has the program coming up. He is a great coach and I feel I can help the team there. Getting on the field early, and having a chance to make a name for myself as a freshman was a big part of my decision. I see a great opportunity at A&M.”
