4-star 2023 EDGE Dylan Gooden names top 8 schools
Olney (Md.) Good Counsel EDGE Dylan Gooden is down to eight schools, he announced on Monday afternoon.
Gooden is the No. 168 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 16 EDGE and the No. 2 prospect in Maryland.

In a Twitter graphic, Gooden announced his top schools list, which includes Texas A&M, Michigan State, Maryland, Miami, West Virginia, Penn State, Notre Dame and Tennessee.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder holds more than 15 offers. He is the son of former National League Cy Young winner and World Series Champion Dwight ‘Doc’ Gooden.
