Four-star DL Elijah Patmon commits to Texas A&M

Warner Robins (Ga.) Northside Rivals300 defensive lineman Elijah Patmon is on a visit to Texas A&M for the Florida game.
Prior to kickoff he gave head coach Mike Elko and the Aggies his verbal commitment.
“My favorite thing about this school is that they treat you like family and I love it here,” Patmon said.
The 6-foot-4, 301-pound Patmon chose Texas A&M over Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida State and Oklahoma among others.
Patmon is ranked by Rivals as the nation’s No. 10 defensive lineman and No. 110 prospect overall. The Rivals Industry slots him No. 15 and No. 136 respectively. He has all the traits coveted to help control the line of scrimmage.
“I want to thank God for giving me the strength to pursue my dreams,” Patmon posted on X. “I want to thank my family and coaches for their endless support and guidance through this journey. The recruiting process has been a blessing.

“I’m proud to announce that I am COMMITTED to Texas A&M University!”
Patmon was offered by Texas A&M in January. Trooper Taylor and Pop Cooney led the charge on the trail for the Aggies.
Texas A&M now has four commits in the 2027 class. Patmon joins fellow Peach State product and the nation’s No. 3 quarterback Jayce Johnson. Offensive lineman DeMarrion Johnson and cornerback Hakim Frampton are also in the fold.
The Aggies are squarely in the mix for some elite players moving forward as they make a run at the No. 1 class in the country. That group includes five-star edge Zyron Forstall, top-ranked cornerback John Meredith, No. 1 linebacker Cooper Witten, elite offensive lineman Albert Simien and coveted running back target Landen Williams-Callis among others.
Stay tuned to Rivals for more on this developing story.
