Isaiah “Slim” Rogers, a four-star point guard in the 2026 class, has committed to Stanford, he told Rivals.

The 6-foot-2 rising senior of Centennial High School (CA) chose head coach Kyle Smith and the Cardinal over offers from San Diego State, Loyola-Chicago, and others.

Rogers is the No. 86 overall recruit in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings. He’s also the No. 13 point guard prospect and the No. 9 player in California.

Rivals’ evaluators are higher on him, ranking him 56th nationally in the class.

Rogers on his commitment to Stanford

Isaiah Rogers went in-depth on his commitment to Stanford with Rivals.

“The things that I value are education, relationship with the entire coaching staff, playstyle, and going to a place where the head coach loves who I am as a player.”

What led to his trust in Kyle Smith and the rest of the coaching staff?

“The entire coaching staff specifically Coach Smith were at several of my games throughout the summer. Also a constant communication between the coaching staff.”

In his own words, what type of player is Stanford getting in Rogers?

“I play with good pace, I can score at all 3 levels, and I’m a playmaker for others.”

He has a message for Stanford fans.

“I know that Stanford means excellence in all aspects of life. They can expect that from me, I’m going to play hard, be the best teammate I can be, and value winning over anything.”

Rivals’ Jamie Shaw evaluated Rogers at the Puma Pro16 Circuit this summer and had this to say about him:

Isaiah Rogers is a floor general, someone who raises the floor of his team and teammates when he is in the floor. He was at his best in the mid-range here, consistently getting to his pull up around the elbows. Rogers is good in the pick and roll and plays with an excellent pace.”
