Four-star point guard Neiko Mundey will enroll early at Texas A&M, he told Rivals.

The 6-foot-2 senior has graduated early from Prince George’s Christian Academy in Maryland and is set to begin practicing with the Aggies on December 26.

Mundey plans to redshirt this season, positioning himself to make his college debut during the 2026–27 campaign.

A Washington, DC native, Mundey committed to Texas A&M in September after weighing offers from Auburn, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Pitt, USC, and Washington.

According to the Rivals Industry Ranking, Mundey is ranked No. 72 nationally and checks in as the No. 11 point guard in his class.

During the grassroots season, Mundey averaged 21.7 points per game while competing for New World on the Adidas 3SSB circuit.

Why Mundey chose Texas A&M

In a previous interview with Rivals, Neiko Mundey went in-depth on his commitment to A&M.

“I chose Texas A&M because it felt like home. The fit was perfect. What led to my trust was the culture and how they valued me and also the support that they have there.”

In his own words, what type of player is A&M getting in Mundey?

“I like to play fast and very aggressive and I like to get after it on defense.”

He has a message for Aggie fans.
