Atlanta Langston Hughes four-star offensive tackle Kelsey Adams has committed to Georgia, he tells Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett.

He chose the Bulldogs over an already-stacked offer list that also includes the likes of Alabama, Ohio State, Florida, LSU, Auburn and Nebraska.

Adams is the No. 65 overall prospect and No. 9 OT in the 2027 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 8 junior in Georgia.

The 6-foot-5, 260-pounder had already named a top 10 list in August and has been on the road taking game visits this fall. He told Rivals’ Chad Simmons that UGA was among the schools recruiting him the hardest heading into the season and that’s now been met with a commitment to the Dawgs.

“My favorite thing about Georgia is how they put players in the league. If you play there, you have a chance to make it out. They coach their players up,” Adams told Simmons in August.

Adams becomes the second OL recruit to choose UGA on Saturday, following Albany (Ga.) Westover three-star interior offensive lineman Kyson Mallard, who also jumped in the boat ahead of the Alabama game while visiting Athens.

More on Georgia Recruiting

Looking at the 2026 class in Athens, Georgia is en route to signing another elite haul. With 31 senior commits in the fold to date, the class currently ranks No. 2 in the nation, according to the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Of those 31 commits, four are offensive linemen. Headlining the quartet is South Garner (N.C.) four-star offensive tackle Ekene Ogboko, the No. 49 overall prospect and No. 6 OT in the cycle. He, like many others, committed to the Bulldogs in June.

Flanking Ogboko is Buford (Ga.) four-star IOL Graham Houston, Carrollton (Ga.) three-star IOL Zykie Helton and Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett three-star Zachary Lewis.

In total, seven top-100 overall prospects are in the class. UGA beat Oregon for Nashville Christian Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Jared Curtis, the nation’s top-ranked QB. He’s one of two five-stars in the class alongside Bowdon (Ga.) tight end Kaiden Prothro, the No. 3 TE in the cycle.

Other elite prospects in the fold include: Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick, Ogboko, Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County four-star safety Jordan Smith, Brownsville (Tenn.) Haywood four-star cornerback Caden Harris, Clemmons (N.C.) West Forsyth four-star defensive lineman PJ Dean and Mansfield (Ohio) Lexington four-star TE Brayden Fogle.
