After decommitting from Texas A&M on Saturday, four-star EDGE Jordan Carter instantly became one of the most sought-after prospects in the 2026 class. With signing day less than a month away, the Peach State standout is wasting no time narrowing his options, setting visits, and charting the next step in his recruitment.

Carter has officially trimmed his list to Auburn, Tennessee, Texas, and Georgia Tech. He’s also lined up a busy stretch through the end of November, with three official visits scheduled and one more in the works.

Official Visit Schedule

Tennessee: November 15

Georgia Tech: November 22

Auburn: November 29

Texas: TBD

Each of the four finalists has made a strong impression on Carter for different reasons.

Auburn Tigers

“I love how the coaches let the young guys just play and coach them hard as well.”

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

“They are building something great and I like the fact that they always make sure to prioritize their edge rushers.”

Tennessee Volunteers

“I enjoy knowing that Tennessee will always have an amazing defense. With having one of the best defenses in the SEC, I’ll be able to be coached by one of the best line coaches in CFB history.”

Texas Longhorns

“They have one of the best defenses in the SEC and produce a lot of amazing EDGE guys who are now in the league.”

While his recruitment remains fluid, one priority has remained constant– development.

“I’m looking for a school that will help me make it to the next level and develop me while I’m at college”
