Michigan flips 4-star WR Brady Marchese from Georgia
Back in June, Michigan began to trend for Cartersville (Ga.) four-star wide receiver Brady Marchese, a Georgia commit. The Bulldogs were able to steady the waters then, shutting down those flips rumors.
Since then, Marchese looked to be rock-solid with UGA. But as National Signing Day got underway, his signature didn’t come through. It was then reported that the Wolverines had kicked the tires of the blue-chip pass-catcher once again.
Now, Sherrone Moore and the U-M staff have gone into the Peach State and flipped Marchese from Georgia. It was announced on Thursday that he’s headed to Ann Arbor in a major last-second win for the Big Ten program.
Marchese’s stock has risen this fall. He’s now the No. 166 overall prospect and No. 27 WR in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. Per the Rivals300, he’s the No. 101 recruit and No. 13 receiver.

The Wolverines are inking an impressive receiver class this cycle and Marchese replaces Mansfield (Texas) four-star WR Zion Robinson, who flipped to Stanford earlier on Thursday. The Michigan class ranks inside the top 15 of the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
The signing period has been topsy-turvy for U-M, which also lost Columbia (S.C.) Dutch Fork four-star EDGE Julian Walker to South Carolina on Thursday afternoon. Marchese is a full-circle addition for the Maize and Blue and brings the Michigan class back to 27 members. The updated class can be seen here.
