Los Angeles Loyola three-star running back Sean Morris has committed to Northwestern, he announced on Thursday evening.

He chose the Wildcats over offers from the likes of Washington, Arizona, Syracuse and SMU.

“I first and foremost want to thank God for giving me the opportunity to be able to be in this position. I also would like to thank my parents, coaches friends for teaching me the game of football and how to be a man. With that being said I am committing to Northwestern University! Go Wildcats,” Morris wrote on X announcing his decision.

Morris is the No. 761 overall prospect and No. 46 RB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 69 player in California.

Head coach David Braun and the NW staff have dipped into the Golden State to land Morris, who’s now the highest-ranked prospect in the Big Ten program’s class. The Wildcats only offered Morris on May 6, but he’s now in the fold following an official visit two weekends ago.

As a junior for Loyola, Morris rushed for 1,762 yards and 16 touchdowns to go woth 271 receiving yards and an additional pair of scores, per MaxPreps. Morris has more than 3,000 total yards to his name across his last two seasons.
