Liberty Center (Ohio) High Rivals300 2027 offensive lineman Kellen Wymer tells Rivals he has committed to Ohio State.

“Honestly everything,” he added of what stood out about the program.

“The culture there is unmatched along with the brotherhood. Ohio State isn’t just a football team it’s a family.”

The four-star Wymer was back in Columbus on Saturday for the Buckeyes win over Penn State.

“The environment is great as always!” Wymer said. “The Buckeyes keep on getting better and better each week! After today’s game-day visit very high on my list.”

Rivals ranks Wymer as the nation’s No. 4 interior offensive lineman and No. 69 prospect overall. He is the No. 2 recruit in the Buckeye State.

Wymer chose Ohio State over Notre Dame, Indiana and several others. He becomes commit No. 4 for head coach Ryan Day and the Buckeyes in the 2027 class.

Prior to Wymer’s pledge Ohio State’s class ranked No. 6 nationally.

Wymer also attended the win over Texas to start the season.

“I was really impressed with the preparation, and the intensity the o-line had,” Wymer said. “I also was impressed with the team stepping up week one and getting it done while fighting adversity!

“The fact I am able to play for them is unbelievable, and what hooks me in is that they have no ceiling, and coach Day leads this team so well!”
