Oregon adds Rivals four-star LB Braylon Hodge to terrific 2026 recruiting class
Englewood (Colo.) Cherry Creek four-star linebacker Braylon Hodge has committed to Oregon.
“I chose Oregon because they showed me so much love,” Hodge said. “The development that I will get is top-tier, and the team is tight-knit and hard working.
“It feels like my home.”
The former Michigan State verbal chose to play for head coach Dan Lanning and the Ducks over Michigan, Texas and several others.
“They had a lot of connections,” Hodge said. “Coach Lanning he is a defensive coach. He played the linebacker position. That’s obviously huge for me.
“Same thing with (defensive coordinator) Coach Tosh Lupoi. I’d have three linebacker coaches there. The development is outstanding.”
Ranked by Rivals as the nation’s No. 9 linebacker and No. 172 prospect overall, Hodge took his official visit to Eugene for the Indiana game.

“Even just getting out there, being around the guys, I feel like I fit in well and it’s somewhere I can call home.
“They recruited me really hard. Ever since I got the offer (linebackers coach Brian) Michalowski was showing a lot of love and showing me they really want me there.”
Hodge becomes commit No. 18 for the Ducks in the 2026 cycle, adding to a class Rivals ranked No. 4 nationally. He loved the environment and culture around the rpogram.
“They’re a really hard working team,” Hodge said. “The team is really together. That is also something that brought me there. Everyone gets along well and they’re all focused on the main goal which is winning.”
Hodge gave Lanning and the staff the good news earlier in the week.
“It was awesome,” Hodge said. “Everybody there was really hyped up.”
Hodge is hoping to be back in Eugene for the USC game.
