Willis (Texas) four-star interior offensive lineman Day’jon Moore has decommitted to Pitt and flipped his pledge to Maryland, he announced on Friday.

Moore had only been committed to the Panthers for a little over three weeks before choosing to exit their class and join up with the Terrapins.

“After much thought, prayer, and discussions with my family, I’ve decided to decommit from the University of Pittsburgh,” he posted on X. “I want to thank the Pitt staff and community for their belief in me and the love they showed. but I believe it’s the right step for my future and my education and athletic career is at the University of Maryland. 10000000% Committed.”

Moore is the No. 376 overall prospect and No. 28 IOL in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 50 player in Texas.

On3 ranks the 6-foot-2, 250-pounder higher than other recruiting services. He checks in as the No. 204 recruit and No. 9 IOL in the class.
