Mansfield (Texas) four-star wide receiver Zion Robinson has flipped his commitment from Michigan to Stanford, according to Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett.

Pledged to the Wolverines since June 25, Robinson opted not to sign with the Big Ten program on Wednesday and is now headed to Palo Alto in a major recruiting win for Andrew Luck and Co.

Robinson is the No. 197 overall prospect and No. 32 WR in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 28 player in the Lone Star State.

On Thursday morning, Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman reported that Stanford had emerged for the blue-chip pass-catcher. Texas was a program mentioned to be in pursuit of the in-state star during National Signing Day as Robinson signing with Michigan looked increasingly unlikely.

Stanford was previously in the mix for his commitment this summer, too. He took an official visit to the ACC program at the end of June just before coming to a decision. Michigan won out then, but the Cardinal circled back at the right time.

Robinson becomes the second-highest-ranked commit in Stanford’s 2026 class. The Cardinal also flipped four-star athlete Dre Pollard away from Washington on National Signing Day and hung on to a commitment from four-star cornerback Lasiah Jackson, who heavily considered Auburn this fall.
