Khamill Pruitt enjoyed his "great" official visit to Northwestern last weekend.

TCU is working to bolster its 2026 recruiting class with a few more pieces ahead of National Signing Day.

The Horned Frogs pulled it off — bolstering their haul with local 3-star WR Khamill Pruitt out of nearby Arlington (Texas) Lamar High School.

Pruitt collected an offer from Malcolm Kelly last month and spent Saturday in Funky Town.

He wasted no time giving a commitment to TCU.

“The big reason I felt like it was the right fit was because I know I’m not at the level I need to be at yet. I’ve been around TCU a lot and seen how many wide receivers got sent to the league from coach Kelly,” Pruitt told Rivals. “I’ve been around TCU for a long time, and I believe that I have a good chance of going to the NFL from there!”

Pruitt has NFL aspirations and he is confident that Kelly can lift the 6-foot-2, 180-pound pass-catcher to those heights.

“Coach Kelly was telling me the things I personally think about myself, which is a good thing,” he said. “I’ve been having great connections with every coach, player, professor, and mentors there.”

Pruitt logged official visits to both Kansas State and Northwestern — prior to Kelly and the Horned Frogs extending an offer.

TCU seized a major opportunity with a very successful weekend on campus.

“They took a big step forward,” Pruitt said. “Everything went great. The meetings I had with coaches Kelly and Coach (Sonny) Dykes was great. They both were welcoming and excited to see me! What excited me was how much Coach Kelly believes in me to be a way better football player than I am right now! I They would love to have me there and the coaches believe in me!”
