Tennessee bringing 4-star Clemson commit to campus on Saturday

Saturday’s showdown between No. 15 Tennessee and No. 6 Georgia has the chance to be a massive inflection point this season for Josh Heupel and the Vols. They’re also hoping that it can a momentum builder with some of the top prospects they’re hosting.
A number of top 2027 recruits will be on hand, but they’ve also got a huge big flip targets heading to Rocky Top as well. Among the newest additions to the visitor list is four-star EDGE Dre Quinn, a Clemson commit out of Buford (Ga.).
Quinn has been committed to the Tigers since June 19, when he chose them over Texas, Georgia Tech, Tennessee and a host of other programs.
He hasn’t taken any known visits since then, but the Vols have remained in contact with him after they ultimately didn’t get an official visit. His last known trip to Knoxville was back in January, and Tennessee made a big impression on him then.

“So far, this has been the best Junior Day visit I’ve been on,” Quinn told Rivals’ Chad Simmons. “What made it so special is that it felt personal and they made me feel like I was a priority there. I connected well with the coaching staff, so well, that it felt like I’ve known them my whole life.”
He added at the time: “I spent a lot of time with all the coaches on the visit their message to me was that they think I would be a great fit for their defensive schemes because I could play on both their 4-3 and 3-4 packages. They talked about my length and athleticism and how I could play that LEO position. They also emphasized my great character.”
Quinn is the No. 357 overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, an equally weighted average that utilizes all three major recruiting services. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 39 EDGE and No. 42 player in the Peach State.
