Texas A&M Football Recruiting: Aggies have top-10 class in 2026 cycle

In Mike Elko’s second full recruiting class, Texas A&M is building another monster as the Aggies load up on talent in 2026.

As of Aug. 19, the Aggies have 27 commits in their 2026 recruiting class, 16 of which have came since June. With those additions, the class ranks No. 6 in the nation, according to the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Elko and the A&M staff acquired some serious momentum last season. Of the 27 commits in the class, six pledged from last October through December. That includes an elite Peach State duo.

Douglas County (Ga.) four-star EDGE Jordan Carter and four-star wide receiver Aaron Gregory each committed on Oct. 27. Gregory is the third-highest ranked offensive commit in the class, checking in as the No. 88 recruit and No. 10 receiver in the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Gregory is one of three receivers in the class to date. He’s also one of seven top-100 prospects in the mix, alongside five-star cornerback Brandon Arrington, four-star EDGE Bryce Perry-Wright, four-star running backs Jonathan Hatton Jr. and KJ Edwards, as well as four-star cornerback Victor Singleton and four-star EDGE Tristian Givens. The Aggies flipped Singleton from Illinois in April.

A&M continues to recruit California well and that’s represented by four Golden State pledges thus far: Arrington, Bellflower St. John Bosco four-star WR Madden Williams, Carson Leuzinger four-star EDGE Samu Moala and Torrance Bishop Montgomery four-star tight end Caleb Tafua.

California is one of nine states represented in the class, which also ranks No. 3 in the SEC, behind just Georgia and Texas. Provo (Utah) Corner Canyon four-star Helaman Casuga is one of the offensive centerpieces, while Arrington headlines a very talented defensive class.
