Thomas will be choosing between five schools: Cal, Florida State, Vanderbilt, Villanova, and Xavier.

In a previous interview with On3, Malcolm Thomas discussed several of the schools involved.

Xavier: “Xavier has been recruiting me the hardest over the past several months. Even before officially offering me. I love the atmosphere of the school and the coaching staff. I have always wanted to play in the big East and I can see myself thriving at Xavier.”

Florida State: “Before being recruited by Florida State, I loved watching them play and have always thought this was a school where I could thrive on the court. I feel like since being recruited I have really connected with coach Hamilton and coach Nickelberry. They have shown me exactly how I can fit perfectly into the scheme. I feel like Florida State is a place where I can become a stronger version of myself on the court.”

Villanova: “Villanova is a place that has always been somewhat of a dream school for me to play. The environment is crazy, and the fan base is really strong. The coaches have made me feel a sense of “family” that I really had no idea about. I love the program and the system, and I really see myself becoming great at Villanova.”
