Qayden Samuels, a high four-star prospect in the 2026 class, is taking an official visit to Georgetown this weekend, he told Rivals.

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard out of Bishop McNamara (MD) holds an offer from the Hoyas. He is the No. 20 overall recruit in the 2026 class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Along with Georgetown, Samuels holds offers from schools like Alabama, UConn, Kentucky, North Carolina, NC State, and others.

In a previous interview with Rivals, Samuels discussed what’s attractive to him about playing for Ed Cooley.

“Really seeing Thomas (Sorber) get drafted. Because (Cooley) told me before like, ‘Hey, this kid might be going to the league next year,’ I was like, ‘Oh, okay. Makes sense. Boom. Went to the league.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, wow’. So, really just watching him put a kid into the league, which is like, ‘Wow, that’s crazy’. It makes me want to, you know, see if they can contribute the same to me.”

He also mentioned what he is looking for in a college program.

“Just the coaching staff and the trust and the loyalty in me. You know, I need them to trust me, play through mistakes and all that.  So, really just the trust. That’s it. And the coaching. Having trust in me.
