Top 2026 recruit Addison Nyemchek commits to Indiana

Top 2026 recruit Addison Nyemchek has committed to Indiana, she announced. The 6-1 wing from Oceanport (NJ) chose the Hoosiers over Michigan and TCU.
“For me, it’s obviously the family culture,” Nyemchek previously told Rivals of what she’s looking for in a program. “Philly Rise is one big family, so finding that in college. Then obviously a place where I think I can fit in with the team and play and be successful and make an impact as a freshman.”
There are several specific factors Nyemchek told Rivals she was focusing on during her official visits.
“I feel like, once you go on your visits, you can really feel it,” Nyemchek said. “Again, like the team chemistry, obviously, the desire to win. I want to win. I want to play in the NCAA Tournament and get deep and win championships. So just getting that feel.”

Nyemchek was one of the biggest stock-risers this year, but there are a few aspects of her game she feels as though she’s improved on the most.
“Continuing to get stronger and then getting more consistent with my shots and my threes,” Nyemchek said.
Nyemchek joins two other Indiana commits for the 2026 class: 6-4 center Zoe Jackson and 5-7 point guard Ashlinn James.
