Top 2026 recruit Asia Lee has committed to the Florida State Seminoles. The 5-10 combo guard from Olathe North (KS) chose Florida State over Houston, Georgia Tech and West Virginia for her landing spot.

“I really like how the Florida State staff really supports me,” Lee told Rivals in a previous interview. “We definitely have weekly Facetime calls. I have FaceTime calls with the head coach, the assistant coach and sometimes together. They showed up to a few of my high school games and that really meant a lot to me. Also, I’m just really looking forward to my visit with them as well.”

There were several factors that were key in Lee’s decision.

“Definitely a school where the people that treat me like a person as well and you don’t just care about me as a basketball player,” Lee said of what she’s looking for in a landing spot. “That’s probably the biggest one. Another thing is I’m looking for a school that helps with player development as well. I know that honestly, throughout college, my game is going to have to keep growing, so a staff that is just willing to help grow my game is definitely important to me.”

Lee just recently visited Florida State this past weekend and will give the Seminoles a strong defensive presence and scoring threat for the 2026-27 season.

“I definitely pride myself on defense,” Lee said. “I feel like I’m a defensive dog. I feel like on defense, I push the ball at a high level. Overall, I’m not the biggest, but I have a long wingspan and my long arms can help a lot on defensive deflections and just kind of irritate the ball handler. Another thing I pride myself on is that I feel like I’m a high-level three-point shooter. I’m a three-level scorer. I feel like all those things can contribute to whatever program I decide to go to.”
