Top 2026 recruit Autumn Fleary has committed to Duke, she told Rivals. Fleary chose the Blue Devils over North CarolinaUCLA and LSU

“They’re always family-oriented,” she previously told Rivals of her official visit. “I was with the team almost the whole entire time and the coaching staff as well. They were just really kind and treated my family very nicely. I love the way they practice as well, especially with their guards, that stood out to me a lot. The facilities were great as well. They made it to the Elite Eight last year, so you can see each year that they’re progressing. Coach Kara [Lawson] even said that the next step is the Final Four or the championship next year. You can just see their progression.”

There were several factors that played a role in her decision.

“The environment and the coaching staff,” Fleary previously told Rivals. “I feel like I have to be there at a school for four years, so I want to make sure I have a great coaching staff that knows me as a person and knows me as a basketball player, and just have a great environment. I want a good culture, supportive teammates, and just to have a good time. Player development is big as well. I want to go as far as I can in basketball, hopefully the WNBA, so I feel like player development is good.”

Duke adds a versatile point guard to their 2026 class, joining Bella Flemings, Sanai Green and Taylor Sofilkanich as commits.

“I’m a point guard that loves to create, whether it’s for my teammates or myself,” Fleary previously said. “I can get to the basket, catch and shoot and create. I’m fast and shifty. Going forward, I want to get better from mid-range and try to improve everything I can before college.”
