Top 2026 recruit Kamora Pruitt commits to NC State

Top 2026 recruit Kamora Pruitt has committed to NC State, she announced on Sunday. Pruitt chose the Wolfpack over Arizona, Oklahoma, SMU and Baylor.
“My experience with NC State has been great,” Pruitt told Rivals. “They’ve been recruiting me for a while, so I have a good relationship with the coaches. I got to hang out with the players when I was up there. So it was a good experience. I liked it.”
Her relationship with head coach Wes Moore played a role in her decision.
“I like the head coach,” she previously told Rivals. “He’s kind of a funny, goofy guy. I’d like to play under him, and I like the system that they play under.”

“Right now, I just want to make sure it fits me,” Pruitt said. “As far as the coaches, I want to come in and play my freshman year, so that’s a big thing. My relationship with the coaches, like I said, that’s the important part for me, especially if I’m going to go far away from home.”
There are a few aspects of her game she focused on this summer.
“I’ve been working on getting to the basket more,” Pruitt told On3. “I’ve been working on both my three and my mid-range too.”
