Jasiah Jervis, one of the top shooting guards in the 2026 class, has committed to Michigan State, he told Rivals.

The 6-foot-5 four-star senior out of Archbishop Stepinac (NY) chose the Spartans over NC State, Tennessee, Pitt, and others.

Jervis is the No. 22 overall player in the 2026 class, according to Rivals’ Top-150 Player Rankings. He’s also the No. 5 ranked shooting guard and No. 4 player out of New York.

Jervis on why he chose Michigan State

Jasiah Jervis discussed his decision to choose Michigan State with Rivals.

“I chose Michigan State because it felt like a family as soon as I got on campus. Coach Izzo was super passionate and involved throughout my whole recruiting process. There a winning program and I love to win so we already had something in common.”

Jervis becomes the Spartans third commitment so far this cycle. He joins four-star PG Carlos Medlock Jr. (No. 73 NATL) and four-star SF Julius Avent (No. 84 NATL).

The newest Spartan a recent standout at The Border League

Rivals National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw found Jervis to be a top performer at The Border League last month:

There is a steady nature to Jasiah Jervis’ game. A 6-foot-4 guard who can consistently dribble to an advantage, take care of possessions with his passing, and pull graving as a shooter. He had a good one today on ESPNU against Miami (FL) Columbus. Jervis knocked down multiple shots from three, either stepping into them or off the catch. He defended the wing well, got a few deflections/steals, and was able to quickly turn defense into offense.
