More on Holmes
Rivals’ National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw evaluated Holmes at the USA Basketball Minicamp last month and had this to say about him:
4-star SF Cam Holmes (2026) is a connector. And there is something to be said about a player who can step into different roles, with different teammates, and still find a way to help the team. Holmes was aggressive throughout the weekend. He made a few noticeable hustle plays each session on defense, while moving the ball, stretching the floor in transition, and knocking down a couple corner threes. Holmes does not provide much self-creation at this point and is not a dynamic shooter, but he can elevate the floor of a team while morphing across a lineup in different roles.
