Top committed cornerbacks in the 2026 Rivals Industry Ranking

There’s currently not much uncommitted talent left on the board in the 2026 cycle. That’s especially true when looking at the nation’s top senior cornerback prospects.
Of the 40 blue-chip corners in the cycle, all but one — Corona (Calif.) Oaks Christian four-star Davon Benjamin — are committed. Just 17 of the 185 ranked CB prospects — per the Rivals Industry Ranking — remain uncommitted, as of July 25.
Flip season will likely throw a spanner in the works for some programs, but entering football season, these are the top committed cornerbacks in the 2026 cycle:
Brandon Arrington — Texas A&M
School: Mount Miguel (Calif.)
Rivals Industry Ranking: No. 10 NATL.
Coach’s Take: “Brandon is one of one. A lot of guys are fast. A lot of guys are tall and have length. It is rare to have a guy like Brandon, who can do it all. What really makes him different is how competitive is. Brandon hates to lose. He can go out there and shut down any receiver one-on-one in the country because of his talent and that drive. The little things really separate him. Brandon is Olympic fast, and he is a track star too, so once he focuses fully on football, it will be scary. Brandon has never played football full time, so once he does and continues to develop, he has a chance to go down as the best to come out of San Diego and go in the first round of the NFL Draft.” — Mount Miguel HC Verlain Betofe
Chauncey Kennon — Florida State
School: Booker (Fla.)
Rivals Industry Ranking: No. 27 NATL.
Notable Quote: “It’s a dream school. I always wanted to be at Florida State,” Kennon told Warchant ahead of his June OV to Tallahassee. “As y’all know, my sister goes to Florida State, my family grew up liking Florida State, so it’s just always been a dream school.”
Jorden Edmonds — Alabama
School: Sprayberry (Ga.)
Rivals Industry Ranking: No. 29 NATL.
Scout’s Take: “Edmonds turned in a stellar showing at Under Armour Atlanta. The corner and defensive back groups were the deepest on hand and Edmonds was the clear top performer of the bunch. The 6-foot-2.5, 175-pounder flashed outstanding fluidity throughout the workout. He made easy work of position drills and was great during the 1-on-1 period. Edmonds took a bunch of 1-on-1 reps and gave up very little through the air. He got things going with a pass breakup against Rivals300 wide receiver Nalin Scott. Edmonds had no issue sticking with shifty wide receivers in the slot, effortlessly flipping his hips while moving at high speeds. He later came down with an interception while defending a wheel route, doing a great job of turning to locate the football. Edmonds’ combination of size, elite length, fluidity, and ball skills made him an easy choice for the Rivals MVP.”
Elbert Hill — USC
School: Archbishop Hoban (Ohio)
Rivals Industry Ranking: No. 35 NATL.
On the Commitment: “Then what they have to offer him. The ultimate goal is to play on Sundays but it’s life after football with him going into business real estate,” Hill’s father told Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong. “They put us in a room with real estate moguls. Everything aligns. Everything just fits. We got to spend time with some big-time alumni, Real-estate people that are alumni at USC. That was great.”
Khary Adams — Notre Dame
School: Loyola Blakefield (Md.)
Rivals Industry Ranking: No. 38 NATL.
Scout’s Take: “Adams is a high upside corner and one who is a really big recruiting get for Notre Dame. For starters, he has a really good frame at around 6-2 and 180 pounds. He has more room to add weight; you could project him being a 200-pound cornerback. That gives him excellent size at the position, and he’s a very good athlete. He ran in the 10.7s in the 100-meters as a sophomore, and you see that athleticism on the field.”
Justice Fitzpatrick — Georgia
School: St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.)
Rivals Industry Ranking: No. 48 NATL.
About: Fitzpatrick, the younger brother of former Alabama star Minkah Fitzpatrick, is making his own name as one of the nation’s most dynamic defenders. The 6-foot, 195-pounder was an All-American as a junior, totaling 34 tackles, seven pass breakups and two interceptions for a St. Thomas Aquinas program that won the Florida 5A championship. He is also a star on the track, turning in times of 10.76 (2.3) in the 100-meter dash and 21.97 (0.4) in the 200-meter dash.

Victor Singleton — Texas A&M
School: Toledo Central Catholic (Ohio)
Rivals Industry Ranking: No. 56 NATL.
About: About: Singleton was at one time committed to Illinois and considered to be one of Bret Bielema’s biggest recruiting wins to date. But not even three full months after he pledged to the Illini, the No. 60 recruit in the On300 jumped ship to join the Aggies. He is now one of the crown jewels of Mike Elko’s top-5 recruiting class in 2026.
Zyan Gibson — Alabama
School: Gadsden City (Ala.)
Rivals Industry Ranking: No. 69 NATL.
Scouting Report: “Zyan Gibson had a good workout at Under Armour Atlanta. The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder’s quickness and refined footwork in drills caught our eye. Gibson showed a smooth and easy backpedal and was able to fire out and break on the ball at a high level. The Alabama pledge held up well in the 1-on-1 reps we caught. One of his highlights came when defending a wheel route early on in the period. Gibson read the route and stayed in the receiver’s hip pocket downfield, making the forced incompletion look easy.”
Caden Harris — Georgia
School: Haywood (Tenn.)
Rivals Industry Ranking: No. 75 NATL.
Harris on UGA: “Georgia has great coaches. I love how many coaches are hands-on working with the defensives backs,” he told Rivals’ Chad Simmons. “I like the ability to be critiqued at all times. Coach Kirby is a defensive coach and what defensive player wouldn’t want to play for a head guy like himself? I’ll be surrounded by elite guys who have the same major goal as me too.”
Havon Finney — LSU
School: Sierra Canyon (Calif.)
Rivals Industry Ranking: No. 87 NATL.
About: LSU beat out Southern Cal, Michigan, Oregon and more for Finney, who reclassified from the 2027 class into the current 2026 class earlier this offseason. He was previously ranked as the No. 1 cornerback in the rising junior class.
