Platte City (Mo.) Platte County three-star tight end Brooks Hall told Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett on Tuesday that he’s flipped his commitment from South Dakota to UCF.

Committed to South Dakota since June, Hall now joins his high school teammate and four-star quarterback Rocco Marriott, who flipped from James Madison to the Knights over the weekend.

Hall is currently unranked. He gives head coach Scott Frost and the staff in Orlando their first tight end commitment this cycle. He took an official visit earlier this month.

“I’ve enjoyed getting to know the coaches and hearing about their plans to develop a TE out of high school,” Hall told Rivals’ Greg Smith ahead of the OV. “I’m looking forward to learning more about the program this weekend and seeing the campus and facilities!”

UCF is now back to 13 commitments this cycle. The Knights’ class ranks No. 68 in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings with National Signing Day just over a week away.

Alongside Marriott, Hall is amidst an impressive senior season for Platte County. The Pirates are now 12-0 and rank as the No. 5 team in the Show-Me State, per the Massey Ratings. They are now in the semifinals of the state playoffs after a 46-33 win over Grain Valley last week.

More on UCF Recruiting

On Saturday afternoon, the Knights flipped Marriott from James Madison. Rivals ranks the 6-foot-3 gunslinger higher than other recruiting services. He now checks in as the No. 232 recruit and No. 16 QB in the updated Rivals300.

St. Thomas More (Conn.) three-star EDGE Alhassan Iddrissu has been a blue-chipper at various points this cycle and has sat atop the UCF class since he committed in June. The Modesto, Calif. native is a top-500 overall prospect.

There’s still two QBs in the class, too, as Minersville (Pa.) Area three-star Dante Carr is behind Marriott as the No. 39 signal-caller nationally. UCF does have five in-state commits in the class, including Pembroke Pines Somerset Academy Charter three-star running back Kaj Baker. The class now ranks No. 66 overall, good for No. 14 in the Big 12, ahead of just Colorado and Oklahoma State.

Other top commits in the class include: Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point three-star linebacker Preston Hall, Neptune Beach (Fla.) Duncan U. Fletcher three-star cornerback Elijah Keys, Brunswick (Ga.) three-star offensive tackle Kasiyah Charlton, Randolph (Mass.) Tabor Academy three-star IOL Amahn Williams and Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep three-star LB Matthew Occhipinti.
