Underrated: Rising 2026 athlete Shareef Jackson gaining FBS attention

The state of Florida arguably has the most high school football talent, and several prospects fall under the radar. Shareef Jackson is one of those talents, but the defensive back/athlete out of Raines High School in Jacksonville has recently gained more interest from FBS programs.
FIU, Georgia State, and UTSA are the three schools currently standing out in his recruitment.
UTSA
“The relationship started back in 9th grade when I was with 24k. We had a tournament in Texas, and I went on an unofficial visit. I sent him my tape in my junior year, and he was impressed. We’ve been locked in from there.”

“They kind of just arrived at my recruitment. Definitely with the game I just had with a punt return for a touchdown. I also had an interception and seven solo tackles. I didn’t know that they were at the game, but the coach told me I was a baller. We’ve been in constant contact since then.”
