Opelousas (La.) Catholic On300 receiver Roderick Tezeno has announced his commitment to USC, landing the Trojans another big pledge as they push for the country’s No. 1 class.

The four-star pass catcher visited the Trojans campus twice this spring including last weekend. Tezeno chose to play for head coach Lincoln Riley and his staff over Houston, Kentucky and many others.

“My visit went great,” Tezeno said. “Had a good time being around all the coaches and the staff, great hospitality and they made me feel welcome, like at home.

“What excites me is that everything is just getting started around there and I think they’re gonna be doing some big things here in the future.”

A two-way standout, Tezeno had 46 receptions for 1,047 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also had eight pass breakups on defense.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder is the No. 435 overall prospect in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. On3 ranks him higher than other recruiting services, however, as he checks in at No. 256 overall and No. 42 at the WR position in the On300.

A look at the USC class with Tezeno in the fold. Riley and Co. now have 24 commitments in the fold before the beginning of May, with a few major targets still on the board heading into the summer.
