Washington back into Top 25 of Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings after latest commitment

Tuesday brought Washington one of its biggest recruiting wins of the 2026 cycle. Santa Clarita (Calif.) Valencia four-star running back Brian Bonner has pledged to the Huskies.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder told Rivals’ Adam Gorney that he chose UW over UCLA. With his pledge now in the fold for head coach Jedd Fisch and Co., the Huskies have made a big move in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Following the addition of Bonner, Washington jumped eight spots and now has the nation’s No. 23 class. It jumped Louisville, South Carolina, Arkansas, UCLA and others.
“I really like the coaching staff,” Bonner told Gorney. “I like how coach Fisch runs his offense and I really like coach Scottie Graham, the running backs coach.”
The Washington class now has 18 total commits. Six blue-chippers are now in the mix in Seattle.
Huskies add another crucial pledge to 2026 class
April 24 saw the Huskies flip Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star offensive tackle Kodi Greene away from Oregon. Greene, the No. 28 overall prospect and No. 4 OT in the nation, has ties to the Evergreen State and is looking to be a catalyst on the trail for the Big Ten program.
Bonner, the No. 108 recruit and No. 7 RB in the cycle, now slots in right behind Greene at the top of the class. He also ranks higher with Rivals, checking in as the No. 4 burner in the Rivals300.
