Wesley Grimes, 2022 North Carolina wideout, commits to Wake Forest

Raleigh (N.C.) Millbrook 2022 three-star wide receiver Wesley Grimes committed to Wake Forest on Tuesday at his high school.
Grimes chose Wake Forest over NC State, Louisville, Duke and 10 other D-I offers. He chose to commit on Sept. 7 in honor of his brother’s 10th birthday.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound three-star is commit No. 12 for the Demon Deacons’ 2022 class.
Grimes is joining Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit High School wide receiver Jaydn Girard on the offensive side of the ball.
Wake Forest offered Grimes on January 28 and hosted him for an official visit on June 18. That visit was sandwiched between visits to Duke and Louisville but his connection to the Demon Deacon staff won out.
