A dynamic slot receiver and return man prospect whose movement skills and playmaking ability outpace his size. Listed at an unverified 5-foot-11, 170 pounds. He'll really have to work on adding mass without sacrificing his athletic ability, and it's not clear he can reach 195 pounds comfortably without sacrificing the movement skills that make him special. Great burst and acceleration are arguably his strongest athletic traits. He has excellent explosiveness that clearly translates from the track to the football field, backed by a personal best of 6-foot-4 in the high jump from his freshman track season (he missed last year…

Top Attributes

- Dynamic ability as a ball carrier and return man; very strong YAC ability - Rare combination of a smooth and twitchy athlete; great overall movement skills - Natural hands catcher who maximizes his catch radius due to his ball skills

Areas to Develop

- Overall size and questionable ability to add mass without sacrificing athleticism - Not asked to run vertical routes or deeper concepts despite speed and ball skills - Exceptional leaping ability and strong hands, but not thrown many contested catch opportunities - Can he track the ball downfield?

Film Review Notes

Able to see the latest junior highlights. First things that pop on tape to me are the ball skills and the hips. He's a very loose athlete that has smooth movements and fluidity in the way he glides around the field. Everything in the way he moves and attacks the football is just so smooth and effortless. He's got some explosive ability in his movements and you see that off the line of scrimmage and in his stop-start ability. Very good about throttling down and kicking back into high gear. Has the ability to cut and move on a dime in order to separate at the top of his routes but also to make defenders miss in space when the ball is in his hands. Would like to see more variety in his route tree and be asked to push more downfield. A lot of the concepts he's running are underneath or in the intermediate levels of the field. A lot more extended handoffs and plays that allow him to eat yards with his legs, but don't see many deeper concepts or much in the vertical passing game. I'd love to see how natural he is as a deep-ball tracker. With his size, being able to go up and win contested catches or 50-50 balls is questionable. Don't see much from him in those situations, but appears to have a very limited sample size in that setting.
