South Walton coach Phil Tisa is a huge fan of his star tight end Pearce Spurlin. Not only does Tisa love Spurlin’s playmaking ability, the coach also is enamored with his work ethic. “He’s a kid that likes to work extremely hard,” Tisa told the NWF Daily News. “Even when we’re done with practice, he stays out and runs gassers just to do that.” Both of Spurlin’s parents – Pearce and Christy – attended school at Georgia. He has two siblings, Riley and Reese. Spurlin plans on majoring in business and pre-law in college. When he’s not playing football or basketball, he enjoys playing Xbox.
