Sam Salz

Sam Salz is a wide receiver in the transfer portal who most recently played for the Texas A&M Aggies. He wears jersey number 39. As a senior in 2024, he saw action on special teams in the win over New Mexico State. In 2023, as a junior, he did not see any game action. Salz did not play organized football before joining the Texas A&M program as a walk-on. He practiced on his own within sight of the team and eventually earned a roster spot. He is believed to be the only Orthodox Jewish football player in NCAA Division I.
