Semaj Stanford's well-rounded skill set reminds us of Andrew Mukuba at the same stage. Both were hyper-physical, instinctive safeties who doubled as offensive weapons on Friday nights. Stanford has better top-end speed on the track at the same stage, while Mukuba was about an inch taller.

Elite overall football player with the skill set and playmaking ability to be an impact safety in college football and beyond. Measured at a shade over 5-foot-10 and around 185 pounds along with 30-inch arms prior to his senior season. Shows excellent top-end speed in track and field, running a 10.54-second 100 meter time in the state finals as a junior. Makes big plays in all three phases on Friday nights. Lines up at safety, showing the ability to affect the game in a myriad of ways. Has outstanding ball skills on defense, making high-difficulty plays on the football. Becomes an offensive player after interceptions as a threat to take it to the house. Shows excellent range, running from hash to sideline with ease. Physical and seeks out contact, lowering his shoulder to deliver big hits. A magnet to the football as a high-volume tackler. Carries the playmaking ability over to offense and special teams, where he makes big plays as a wide receiver and return man. Finished his junior season with 109 tackles, 5 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles, along with 743 all-purpose yards and 11 touchdowns. Lacks prototypical height and length for the position. Looks like one of the more instinctive and impactful safety prospects in the 2027 cycle and has early round NFL Draft upside.
