Tristan DePhillips

My name is Tristan DePhillips, and I’m a Class of 2026 TE from Upper Arlington High School in Columbus, Ohio, where I play first-string varsity under Coach Buttermore. I enjoy spending my time playing sports and working with my hands building things. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Moved to Ohio in 2022 with my mom and little sister. I began playing football at age 7, progressing through Club and Pop Warner programs before earning a varsity role in high school. I’m proud to be a multi-sport athlete—competing in wrestling since age 5 and qualifying for the 2024 Districts at 215 lbs. I also swam competitively until 2022, which has contributed to my overall athleticism, balance, and discipline. I am highly coachable and constantly working to perfect my technique—whether it’s run-blocking with leverage, route precision, or hands-catching under pressure. I take pride in being a team-first player who contributes both on and off the field. I want to take football to the next level after college. I have a 3.5 GPA and am always looking to improve in the classroom and community.
