Latest intel on a new prediction in favor of Texas A&M for an elite defender

After last night’s dominant win over LSU in Baton Rouge, Texas A&M’s momentum on the recruiting trail has surged, with multiple top prospects across several recruiting classes now seriously considering a future in College Station.
One of those prospects is an elite out-of-state defender with a commitment date set for mid-November. Here’s the latest as we project Texas A&M to land this top defender just a month away from his scheduled announcement.

Earlier this week, 2027 Baltimore (MD) St. Frances Academy four-star cornerback Raylaun Henry announced his final six: Texas A&M, Tennessee, Alabama, Ohio State, Penn State, and Indiana. However, sources continue to indicate that the two programs battling it out down the stretch are Texas A&M and Ohio State.
Despite the Buckeyes continuing to push hard for Henry, we continue to hear the most about Texas A&M, which has held momentum for much of the past year and is also the program he has personally said has controlled the pace of his recruitment on numerous occasions.
Along with his list of final schools, Henry also announced a commitment date of November 15th. That date is particularly interesting because it coincides with Texas A&M hosting South Carolina in College Station—a game we’ve been told Henry is expected to attend.
We continue to hear heavy buzz favoring the Aggies as we enter the final stretch, and sources indicate he may not be the first elite defensive back to join the 2027 recruiting class in College Station. I’ve already entered a prediction in favor of Texas A&M for the No. 1 safety prospect, Kamarui Dorsey, who is set to announce his decision on November 1st — and I still like that call today.
I’ve now entered a prediction for Henry to land in College Station when he announces next month, as the Aggies continue to build momentum on the recruiting trail.
